What is iNaturalist?
iNaturalist is a global nature observation app that allows anyone to record and share observations of the natural world. The data you upload is curated by experts and community members, building a massive, open, global database that also helps researchers.
How can you participate?
- Download the iNaturalist app 📱
- Take a photo of a plant, animal, or fungus you find in the Climate Garden
- Upload it to iNaturalist and tag the exact location of your observation so it will automatically be added to our Climate Garden project
- Help identify it or see what others have discovered in the garden
