Ragebook making workshop
A trashbook is a diary made from recycled, often discarded materials, in which drawings, text, collages, stitching, or any other visual gestures can find a place, without any formal requirements. During our program, participants can create the pages of their own “ragebook,” in which they can express and display the tensions that have built up during their everyday lives, as well as the atrocities they have experienced in relation to womanhood. During the workshop, everyone will work individually on the pages of their own book, and at the end of the program, the completed pages will be compiled into a personal trashbook.
No prior craft experience is necessary for the program, and we will provide all the materials, but feel free to bring your own recyclable paper, pictures, or pieces of fabric.
